Two letters, 1877, one from J.G. Holland at Scribner's Monthly and one from R. Shelton McKenzie of "The Press", congratulating Power on the publication of his book. One essay on the Power family coat of arms. One letter, 1890 from Power requesting information on his family in order to join the Sons of the American Revolution. One letter from the Bureau of Pensions with a history of Joseph Power, who served in the American Revolution, and his family. Two letters, 1891, regarding the death of his wife, with one instructing in the inscription for her headstone. Two letters to his niece, Mary Wallace, who came to live with him in 1893. A copy of the will of Sarah Jane Laughlin, 1906, who named Mary Wallace as executrix. Life certificate for the National Lincoln Association, 1884. (Oversize).
